The Measurement Maven and Menace of the Month Awards The Measurement Mavens of the Month: All
the
Measurement Wonks out there in Blogging Land... It's about time that the hard-working measurement bloggers of the world got some recognition, so here's a quick list of some of them off the top of my head. This is by no means a comprehensive list, and it's presented here in no particular order. In fact, please feel free to contact me with your own favorites, and we'll add more here as they come in.
The Measurement Menace of the Month David Carriere, author of 7 Steps to Publicize Just About Anything, says that nothing in PR is measureable: "Neither the immediate impact of a publicity campaign or the long-term consequences of its success are actually quantifiable." He suggests that the way to do research is to gather people around the kitchen table and generate discussions. And worse is his recommendation for evaluation: put together a clip book.
