May 29th, 2003 PR Weather Report for June “June is busting out all over, everything is in bloom...” The problem with June is that no one pays attention to news. Baseball is getting into swing, kids are getting out of school, and vacations are being planned, so unless you can get your message or product into a commencement address, chances are slim that anyone will hear it. That doesn’t mean there aren’t some interesting opportunities out there if you can fit your strategy to them. June is, after all, Dairy Month, Fireworks Safety Month, National Candy Month and National Fresh Fruit Month (ironic, huh?). Not to mention a very popular time for weddings.
