PR Weather Report for April

Stormy Weather
and Worse to Come

Bleak winter is not over yet. The media’s obsession with Iraq will continue, and if there’s room for anything other than war news it will be taken up with March Madness, baseball’s opening day, tax stories and Easter. The good news is that if you are trying to get messages out there about bunnies, baseball, basketball, or budgets you probably have a willing listener in most reporters.

Key dates:

  • Opening Day: March 20
  • April Fool's Day: April 1
  • Tax Day: April 15
  • Passover (Begins at Sundown): April 16
